Joan Boykin

Joan Boykin is a formative leader in the natural and organic products industry, with more than 40 years of experience across CPG, retail, publishing and nonprofit leadership. She was a founding member of Naturally Boulder, now Naturally Colorado, and has also held leadership roles with organizations and companies including The Organic Center, Hain Celestial, New Hope Network, Alfalfa’s and Wild Oats Markets. 

Boykin’s impact has been especially powerful through her work building community infrastructure for the natural products industry. As a connector, advisor and advocate, she helped shape the culture of mentorship and collaboration that became central to Naturally Boulder’s identity — supporting founders, strengthening organic food production and helping Colorado become a national model for natural products entrepreneurship.
