The Entrepreneur Spotlight Series highlights the journey and stories of entrepreneurs, innovators, and industry veterans shaping the Colorado food and beverage industries.

Join Naturally Colorado and Colorado Food Works as we present an afternoon with Steve Hughes to learn more about his journey building Boulder Brands and his impact on the greater Colorado natural and organic products industry. We’ll hear about his amazing journey including the ups, downs and every point in between. Steve will also touch on what’s relevant in today’s climate including funding, the future of retail, and how businesses of all sizes can succeed.

Stephen Hughes is the Co-founder and CEO of Sunrise Strategic Partners. A pioneer and veteran executive in the natural and organic food and beverage industry, Steve has more than 30 years of experience leading and growing legacy brands. Most recently, Steve served as the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Boulder Brands, a publicly-traded natural food and beverage company with a portfolio that included EVOL, Udi’s Gluten Free, Glutino and Earth Balance. Steve currently serves on the boards of Kill Cliff, Kodiak Cakes, Maple Hill Creamery, PACT Organic, Perky Jerky, Sunrise Strategic Partners and Teton Waters Ranch.

HOW DO ONLINE EVENTS WORK?

Participants will be able to see and hear the presenters, but participants’ cameras won’t be on, and their mics will be muted. Participants will be able to type questions via the Chat box.
