Panelist Bio’s
Jennifer Rosenthal
Jennifer is a corporate partner in the Boulder office of KO Firm. Jennifer’s practice focuses on corporate transactions for brands and investors, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investments, company formations and general corporate representation. KO Firm also represents companies in connection with the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts such as co-packing, supplier, distribution, broker, and other contracts. Jennifer works with clients ranging from startups to public companies and has an emphasis on the consumer products and natural foods industries.
Corey Bohler
Corey is an accomplished finance, accounting and operations executive with over 20 years of experience leading companies through periods of rapid change, high growth, and cash flow improvement. His industry experience includes Consumer Packaged Goods, Medical Devices, General Manufacturing and Financial Services and he is well versed in building relationships, leading teams, and driving strong bottom-line results. As a CFO, Corey has extensive experience in strategic finance, pricing, profitability improvements, manufacturing, operations, new product development, and fundraising.
Jamba Dunn
Jamba is the Founder and CEO of Boulder-based Rowdy Mermaid Kombucha, a botanically-infused, function-forward kombucha currently distributed to more than 1000 retailers throughout the Central and Western United States. After leaving corporate life behind, Jamba decided to found the company in 2013 to dive deeper into two of his passions: academic research and the art of fermentation. With this – and at the request of his 3-year-old daughter for a kombucha less sweet and less vinegary – Jamba developed a new process for brewing the 2,000 year old beverage. Jamba holds degrees from UC Berkeley and Naropa and earned a Ph.D in Philosophy from the European Graduate School in Switzerland. He resides with his family in the mountains outside Boulder, Colorado.
Simeon Margolis
After a decade in international marketing for RCA Records and Island Def Jam Music, Simeon Margolis found his true passion as a serial entrepreneur. A proud alum of Babson’s MBA program, Simeon Co-Founded Good Day Chocolate with his partner, Dr. Andrew Goldman, putting their first “chocolate with benefits” on market in November of 2014. Simeon lives with his wife Heather and their two daughters in Boulder, CO
