Sustainability Forum: Old Salt and Spinster Sisters Behind-the-Scenes Tour
July 15th
3:00 – 4:30 pm MT
3012 Sterling Circle, Suite 200, Boulder, CO 80301

Join us on July 15th for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Spinster Sisters Co / Old Salt Grooming Supply Microsoapery, a Colorado-based pioneer in sustainable personal care manufacturing. From zero-waste shampoo bars to low-impact production systems, Spinster Sisters is redefining what it means to create high-quality products that are good for people and the planet. The Microsoapery brings artisanal craft and modern innovation together under one roof — blending transparent ingredient sourcing, clean formulation, and responsible manufacturing practices.

This session offers an inside look at how a certified B Corp and Public Benefit Corporation scales sustainable production without compromising values.

During the tour, we’ll:

  • Dive into Sustainable Manufacturing 101 — explore how solid-format personal care reduces plastic waste, how energy and water efficiency are built into the production process, and how every stage of manufacturing minimizes environmental footprint.
  • Follow the life of a bar — from raw ingredient to finished product, including extrusion, pressing, and curing systems that support both efficiency and quality.
  • Connect the dots between clean chemistry, climate-conscious operations, and local economic resilience through regenerative business design.
  • Join the conversation with fellow sustainability-minded businesses as we discuss practical steps for eco-conscious innovation in manufacturing and consumer goods.
Location:
3012 Sterling Circle, Suite 200, Boulder, CO 80301
